England are through to the knockout phase of Euro 2024 as group winners, despite underwhelming start to the tournament.
A goalless draw with Slovenia that saw little improvement from the Three Lions was enough to seal top spot on Tuesday. Denmark were held by Serbia meaning they couldn't leapfrog Gareth Southgate's men, who are in the far more favourable half of the knockout draw.
Southgate, though, will have to face plenty of questions as the England boss felt fan frustration with some hurling bottles and cups in his direction at full-time in Cologne.
Group D concluded on Tuesday with Austria surprising everyone to top the standings after beating the Netherlands. France were held by Poland thanks to a late Robert Lewandowski equaliser and only went through as the group runners-up, which leaves them with some tough games ahead in what's a mouth-watering knockout draw.

Luke Shaw has declared himself fit for England’s Euros knock-out campaign.
Shaw, 28, has set his sights on being fit for the last 16 tie in Gelsenkirchen after saying he will be ready for the “next game.”
England boss Gareth Southgate took a major gamble on Shaw knowing that the Manchester United full back has not played since February 18 when he suffered a hamstring injury.
Shaw has been one of England’s best and most trusted players under Southgate and his return to action would be a huge boost for the rest of the tournament.

And that's it for the Euro 2024 group stage!
Here's how Group F has finished...
A late winner for Turkey through Cenk Tosun!
The Czech Republic have hope!
Tomas Souck has equalised against Turkey.
Just like against the Czech Republic, Georges Mikautadze buries it!
Mikautadze has three goals and three games and Georgia lead 2-0!
Wow.
After a VAR check, Georgia have the chance to go 2-0 up.
A nightmare evening so far for Portugal defender Antonio Silva.
And Turkey lead!
It's their key man, Hakan Calhanoglu, who's put them ahead.
A mountain to climb for the Czech Republic.
For the final time in the group stage, we've kicked off for the second 45 minutes.
Here are the Group F standings.
Only one goal so far in Group F but plenty of drama.
A second-minute goal from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has Georgia ahead the break, much to Cristiano Ronaldo's frustration.
The Portugal captain was booked for protesting what looked like a clear penalty but nothing was given.
Meanwhile up in Hamburg, 10-man Czech Republic now face an even tougher challenge to beat Turkey.
Oh, Antonin Barak.
Two yellow cards in the first 20 minutes and he's off!
The Czech Republic need to win to qualify.
That goal has sent shockwaves around Germany and not just because of the noise from Georgia's supporters.
As things stand, England would play Slovakia in the round-of-16 and not the Netherlands.
A win the Czech Republic would also do the same for England.
Amazing!
Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has put Georgia ahead within two minutes after a rapid counter attack.
Antonio Silva gave it away around the halfway line for Portugal and they were duly punished.
And we're off for the final two group games of Euro 2024.
Who'll join Portugal in the knockouts?
Here's how Group F looks, with the Czech Republic and Turkey getting ready to face off in a mouth-watering clash.
Georgia, meanwhile, are hoping for an upset against already-qualified Portugal.
With just Group F left to finish off, there's one final third-placed spot potentially up for grabs.
Here's how the table looks ahead of the four best teams going through to the knockouts.

It's all over and Ukraine are the unfortunate team to miss out.
For the first time ever, a European Championship group has finished with all four teams on four points!
In addition, no side had ever finished on four points and failed to go through - until Ukraine.
Belgium will face France in the last 16.
Here are the final standings in Group E.
Will they get it?
Andriy Yarmolenko is on with 10 minutes of normal time remaining.
The last I time I reminded you it was goalless we quickly got one, so let's hope...
Currently, Belgium are on course to play France in a crunch last-16 tie.
The final 45 minutes of Group E are upon us.
A reminder of the table as things stand...
All square in both Group E games at the break.
Ukraine will be ruing a few missed chances against Belgium in Stuttgart.
And Razvan Marin buries the penalty to draw Romania level.
The sides in Group E are now locked on four points.
A chance for an equaliser...
Curse of the live blogger!
Slovakia lead Romania in Frankfurt, firing them to first place through Ondrej Duda's superb header back across goal.
It's as you were in Group E.
Four points for each team, keeping Romania top and Belgium in second.
Here we go, then.
We've kicked off in both Frankfurt and Stuttgart for the final pair of Group E games.
