SIMON Cowell pressed the golden buzzer for duo Stardust.

The pair's death-defying roller skating act secured them a spot in the 2024 Britain's Got Talent final.

Who are Stardust?

Stardust are a roller-skater duo.

It consists of Ukrainian married couple Vlada Kamyshnikova,25, and Yevhenii Yemelianenko, 27.

They took part in Lithuania Got Talent and Ukraine's Got Talent, where they made it to the final.

Ahead of their performance, Yevhenii said: "This stage inspired us.

"Billy and Emily inspired us.

"This performance made such a big impact on us, so we decided to start our rollerskating journey."

What happened when Stardust performed on Britain's Got Talent?

Stardust performed a roller skating act.

The act almost ended in a tragedy when Vlada flung on a trampoline towards her husband Yevhenii.

She almost missed him, but was able to attach herself to his neck.

He then launched them both into the air and they flung around at high speed.

During the performance, Vlada's roller skates sparked as she spun in the air.

The judges and audience were left speechless and impressed after the performance.

They received a standing ovation.

Ant and Dec said: "That was unbelievable good. Incredible!"

After the audience demanded that the judges pressed the golden buzzer.

Simon Cowell, who pressed it, said it was "fantastic" and said "thank you so much".

Bruno Tonioli said: "Oh my god. It was so impressive.

"The combination of rollerskating and aerialism was so spectacular, so thrilling. Perfection!"

Alesha Dixon was also left impressed.

She said: "That is how you do it.

"Honestly you knocked out the park.

"That was sensational and you look incredible together, both of you, stunning."

Judge Amanda Holden said: "This show is always about raising the levels every single year and I'm going to say it, you did and it was insane.

"It was amazing."

After he hit the golden buzzer and climbed on stage to congratulate them, Simon said: "You really deserved it.

"It was fantastic, seriously.

"That is what that is all about.

"Thank you so much, go celebrate it."

He then turned to the crowd after Stardust left the stage and said about the golden buzzer: "How could you not?

"It was just sensational"

When is the Britain's Got Talent final?

The final of Britain's Got Talent is airing live on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 7.30 pm on ITV1 and ITVX

Before the final, the semi finals of Britain's Got Talent will be taking place from Monday, May 27 until Friday, May 31 at the Eventim Apollo in London.

Ant and Dec are live hosting and each live show is set to air from 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

The acts will all be trying to secure their spot in the final for a chance to perform at the Royal Variety Performance, and the £250,000 grand prize.
