Cher packed on the PDA with her boyfriend Alexander Edwards as they posed on the red carpet at Cannes.
The iconic singer was seen kissing her rapper beau as they turned up for the 2024 amfAR Cannes Gala. Cher, 78, wore a sheer panelled black dress accentuating her trim figure, teaming the garment with a fur jacket.
She wore her long black hair in sleek waves that flowed over her shoulders and wore diamante embellished fingerless gloves on her hands. The star was seen interlocking her fingers with Alexander, 38, as they posed looking deeply in love on the carpet.

Cher also posed alongside Demi Moore, who was at Cannes to promote her new film The Substance. The outing comes after Cher said she dates younger men because potential suitors her own age are “all dead."

The Believe singer also believes that the younger demographic are more confident, and better equipped to handle her, because they were raised by women of her generation. "The reason I got with young men is because men my age are older — well now they’re all dead — but before, they were always terrified to approach me," she explains.
"And younger men — they were raised by women like me," she told Jennifer Hudson’s chat show. Cher and Alexander fell in love over text message. "I was nervous of his reputation," she admits. "I mean, I’m really shy when I’m not working and kinda shy around men."
She has previously said: "I told my friends, don’t fall in love with a younger man, we’re too old. And don’t fall in love by text. There goes that theory." She has also described how he treats her "like a queen", adding of their 40 year age gap: "Love doesn’t know math."

Three days after the divorce was finalised, she wed Gregg Allman, who died in 2017 aged 67. Cher was recently denied conservatorship of the estate of their son Elijah Blue, 47, after she claimed Elijah was unable to adequately look after himself.
Cher, who says she hates the "demeaning" term "toyboy", also had bigger age gaps with other ex-boyfriends, including Val Kilmer, 64, and Tom Cruise, 61, who she dated in the 1980s, and “bagel boy” Rob Camilletti, 60, who she has said was "possibly the one true love of my life". She believes "older men don’t like me”.
Asked if she would wed again, after she was pictured wearing a diamond on her wedding ring finger, she said: “Probably not. Because I’ve done it. I’m really happy with Alexander.” She added of the ring: “He just wanted to give it to me. Usually, I wear it on my right hand because he said: ‘It’s the right ring for the right woman on the right hand’.”
