Unfortunately Maguire was unavailable for the cup final clash after failing to return from an injury in time to play at the 'Home of Football'.
But the defender will now have his full attention on getting fit in time to fly out to Germany with England as part of Gareth Southgate's squad for Euro 2024 this summer.
Maguire was named in Southgate's 33-strong provisional training squad and is a favourite to earn his spot in the whittled down 26-man squad that will be named by June 7.
The former Leicester man has been a crucial cog in Southgate's Three Lions teams over the years, making 63 appearances and playing in three major tournaments under the England boss.
