Arsenal are in the midst of their summer transfer work with Mikel Arteta keen for additions.

The Gunners were marginally edged out in the race for the Premier League crown last season. And they will be looking to cut the gap to Manchester City this time around.

A number of stars have already been linked with moves to the Emirates. That includes some big-name strikers such as Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres.

That pair could potentially cost a pretty penny though, which may lead to Arsenal having to sell to generate some funds. Take a look at the latest transfer rumours from the Emirates Stadium.

Garca deal announced ‘soon’

Arsenal are closing in on their first signing of the summer, Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia. According to reports in Spain, the stopper will become a Gunner ‘soon’.

He is fresh off the back of helping Espanyol to a place back in La Liga. Real Madrid were interested but Arsenal have managed to fight off their interest.

The 23-year-old’s arrival would give Arteta a tricky decision to make. The Gunners are expected to complete a £27m deal for loanee David Raya, while Aaron Ramsdale remains in North London.

Conte reveals Osimhen agreement

Once a deal for Garcia is over the line, Arsenal then may turn their attention to bolstering their frontline. Napoli star Victor Osimhen is a candidate to be drafted in and new boss Antonio Conte has revealed that there is an agreement to let him leave the club.

Speaking at his unveiling, the Italian said: “As far as Osimhen is concerned, just as I knew very well about the situation of Kvara, Di Lorenzo, Anguissa, Lobotka, on which I have placed an absolute veto.

“Having said that, I know what the situation is regarding Osimhen. I know that there are agreements, that it is a situation different from all the others. I can only assist.

“He is a player of the highest level, exceptional, but I cannot enter into any discussion because it is part of previous agreements which have been clearly stated to me.”

Sambi Lokonga talks progressing

After loan spells with Crystal Palace and Luton, Belgian midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga looks set to leave the Emirates once again. Sevilla have emerged as potential suitors.

As per Diario de Sevilla, the Spanish side have admired Lokonga for some time. They are limited in what they can do financially this summer and the midfielder is an option.

It is suggested that talks between Arsenal and Sevilla are progressing well. It is hoped that a deal could potentially be done before the start of pre-season.
