The bride-to-be decided to get her eyebrows and upper lip waxed the day before her wedding, but it didn't go quite to plan.

Taking to TikTok, she raged: "Look at the state of me!"

Sara revealed that after her appointment her face had turned bright red.

She said that this had never happened to her before and questioned whether it was because she had her eyebrows waxed and not threaded.

"Imagine this doesn't go down!" she cried, her mouth wide-open as she pictured walking down the aisle with a raspberry-coloured face.

Sara added that her lip had gone numb after the treatment.

However, she managed to stay positive about the whole thing and said that she found the situation funny.

Sara's video, which was posted under the username @saramay1995, has likely left many people in stitches, as it has racked up over 596,000 views on the video sharing platform.

TikTok users raced to the video's comments section to share their thoughts, with many questioning why she left her waxing appointment so late.

One person said: "You're supposed to get waxed 7 days before so your skin settles before applying makeup."

Another person said: "Use a cold compress on it.

"A cold Paper towel will work fine".

A third person said: "Take an anti-histamine and put a cold compress on all night.

"I wouldn’t put anything else on that you aren’t used too in case it makes it worse."

A fourth added: "If it doesn't go down, green concealer conceals redness."

Thankfully, Sara's redness appeared to go down as the following day, she posted a stunning picture of herself in her wedding gown, with her face looking back to normal.

Posing beside her new husband, she captioned it: "Mrs Challenor!"
