"It’s such an achievement and we are so proud of her."

Daisy has also modelled in London, Paris and New York.

Demetre, who has an older sister Ella, 15, now has 100,000 followers on Instagram, and is also in the casting process for a Hollywood film.

In the next few months she is also set to be fitted with a special robotic knee, which will give her more control over her movement.

Alex added: "She is excited to be old enough now to be fitted with the robotic knee. If you walk down the street behind her you wouldn’t know she had two prosthetic legs, but her leg does throw out to the side slightly when she moves which may eventually affect her hips.

"So the robotic knee will help this. She will be able to use a treadmill too, which she loves for her fitness.

Ben Lovell, a double amputee who runs Amp Camp, which are week long camps in Tenerife for amputees to build their confidence and fitness, said: "Daisy is the youngest double amputee ever to climb Snowdon.

"It’s an amazing achievement."
