Amanda Holden has claimed the British public "don't care" about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The Heart FM Breakfast show host weighed in after Graham Norton claimed people just want the Sussexes to "live their lives" in Montecito, California. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, 61-year-old chat show legend Graham questioned if the average Brit is really bothered about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, reports the Express.
He pointed out that they had "defied" the seemingly flawless Prince William and Kate Middleton. In a previously aired 2023 interview, Graham expressed his doubts about public interest, saying: "Do regular people care that much? I don't think they do. I think they just think let them live their lives."
On today's Heart Breakfast, Amanda Holden brought up Graham's past comments and agreed with him, stating: "I think you're right. I think the press makes so much of it but none of us really care."
Her co-host Jamie Theakston chimed in with agreement, remarking: "I think we don't care that much." The Duke and Duchess of Sussex famously stepped back from Royal duties in 2020, moving their family from Frogmore Cottage to the US.
