Annie Kilner and Charlotte Trippier have reportedly waged a war against the WAGS after forming a 'deadly alliance'' - and it appears to be affecting the England team.
Annie and Charlotte, who have been friends since childhood, grew closer after marrying their Premier League player husbands - but over the years, the pair have dealt with difficult situations in their relationships. Despite this, the two women have been supportive of their husband's careers - and are often spotted cheering them on from the stands.
However, this time, Annie - who was recently spotted on a stroll with her newborn - is said to have opted out of supporting husband Kyle in Germany throughout England's Euro 2024 matches, and has instead flown out to watch his games on a private plane.
The model and mum, 32, faced difficulties in her marriage to Kyle Walker, after the England star admitted to cheating, causing a rough patch in their relationship. Meanwhile, it appears Charlotte has chosen to stay away while the other WAGS have travelled to Germany to support their partners during the Euros.
Charlotte may have hinted at the fact her relationship with Kieran could finally be over. It comes after the 33-year-old - who shares three children with the Newcastle United footballer - sparked concerns among her fans after sharing cryptic posts on Instagram and unfollowing the star on social media.
Carlo Ancelotti sheds light on Real Madrid 'exit agreement' after Zidane claimHer posts, which mentioned overcoming difficulties and enjoying a sunny day, have led to rumors and rising concerns within the England camp. A close source told The Daily Mail: "It seems coincidental that they are such good friends, are both clearly having issues in their marriages and are both ensuring that their private lives are being discussed across the country while England are under such scrutiny at the Euros.
"Annie has become a bit of an expert at getting her voice out there, whether it is through her PR or by directly briefing journalists. Her relationship problems have had everyone gripped. Now it's the same for Charlotte. It really does seem to be a bit of a deadly WAG alliance that is distracting their husbands and also overshadowing the tournament."
It comes after shared some worrying words on her social media page, leaving fans to speculate about their relationship. Taking to her Instagram story on Monday, June 24, 2024, ahead of England's uneventful match against Slovenia (0-0), the wife of Newcastle star Kieran shared an enigmatic post, reading: "Sooner or later you get over the s*** you swore you'd never get over and it's the best feeling in the world."
Earlier this week sources revealed that Charlotte and Kieran's marriage has been "strained for some time" although the couple tried to work on their problems. They told The Daily Mail: 'It's been known for some time that things are not good between them. They've had a number of issues and have been trying to resolve them but it's proving to be quite a challenge. Charlotte has stayed in England with their children during the Euros, unlike the other WAGs who have all been flying to Germany for the games. It will be interesting to see what happens between them once the Euros are over."
Charlotte and Kieran tied the knot in 2016 and it wasn't long until the couple welcomed their first child together, their son Jacob. They had a second child a daughter Esme Rose in February 2020. And the newest addition to their family was in 2022 when they welcomed their third baby.
While the couple have had their fair share of highs and lows in their marriage, Charlotte previously opened up about the struggle she faced living in Spain after her husband signed on to Atletico Madrid.
She said: "When we first moved to Madrid, I was on my own for long. I felt so lonely, 'cos people don't see that side of things. About four months in, I was saying to him 'I don't know if I can stay here Kieran, I feel depressed. I've got no family over here, I've got no friends here." She added: "It's the language barrier that made it so hard and I did say to him 'I don't know if I can do it. We might have to look at me going back, because I don't feel happy here.
