Who pressed the golden buzzer for Ssaulabi Taekwondo Troupe?

On April 20, 2024, Ssaulabi Performance Troupe packed a punch during their Britain's Got Talent debut.

The martial arts pros literally tore up their audition in a Golden Buzzer-winning performance

The dynamic taekwondo show put on by the group saw them perform intricate somersaults and flips, whilst also breaking wooden planks effortlessly with their hands and feet.

The power, the beauty, the artistry. It blows everything else I've seen out of the water.

A troupe member even performed pirouettes while consistently breaking several pieces of wood.

But it wasn't the judges who hit the big gold button for Ssaulabi Taekwondo Troupe.

Backstage hosts Ant and Dec were so impressed that they ran out and hit the Golden Buzzer for the troupe.

This means they are automatically through to the BGT 2024 live semi-finals.

Following their audition judge Bruno Tonioli praised the routine for its "power, the beauty and the artistry" that surpassed everything he had previously witnessed on the stage, calling it an act that blew "out of the water".

Fellow judge Alesha Dixon said their "discipline hard work and dedication" had "paid off".

And it now looks like all their effort really has "paid off" as they are through to the BGT 2024 final.

Taking part in Heat One they managed to get the judges vote, after it was down to them and dog act Trickstars.

After getting through, the group said they wanted to show "everything they had".

They now join opera singer Innocent Masuku in the grand finale.
