Another added: "Sydnie Christmas is gonna win this years #BGT... It's obvious."

"Sydnie Christmas will win The Final?!," penned a third.

Last month, Sydnie won Amanda's golden buzzer and got a standing ovation from all four judges as she was covered in gold confetti falling from above.

Amanda Holden was heard saying "it's too early" as the crowd chanted Sydnie's name.

The judge told Sydnie: "That was the best version of it that I've heard heard in my mind, so I'm going to do this..."

In a surprise move, Amanda hit the golden buzzer - and sent Sydnie through to the semi-finals.

Overwhelmed Sydnie was in tears as she stared up at the roaring audience.

Her adoring grandmothers watching from the Palladium jumped up and down as they took in the news.

The climax to the third live semi final saw Sydnie Christmas top the public vote and automatically go through to Sunday's grand decider.

It was then between dancer Leightonjay Halliday and singing impressionist Mike Woodhams for the second spot in the ITV1 show's final.

As usual, hosts Ant and Dec threw to the judges to make that decision.

But for the second night running, the judges split the vote so it went to deadlock.

This meant it was the public vote that decided, sending Scottish performer Leightonjay home and Mike into the final.
