Kylie Minogue, who first shot to fame in the 1980s on Neighbours, has never shied away from experimenting with her style. The singer, who turns 56 today, continues to defy her age, often showcasing her incredible physique.

Kylie Minogue celebrates New Year's Eve with performance in Dubai hotelIn fact, last year, Kylie revealed that her friends have affectionately nicknamed her 'Sparkle' due to her age-defying qualities.
In a candid chat with Radio Times about ageism, she revealed: "I've had people say to me, throughout the years, 'You'll always just be you'. They don't really see my age, which is kind of funny, because I started so young, and if there was any detrimental aspect to that it was, 'You're so young, what do you know, how can you be credible? '", reports the Express.
She added: "I have friends for whom, on their phone, I'm just called Sparkle. I don't quite know how I've managed it, but I don't think I've had to deal with it as much as some other people." Meanwhile, Kylie recently opened up about her love life while being booked and busy with projects and performances.
Before her performance at the BRIT Awards this year, she discussed her "philosophy on love at this moment". She said: "Right now? Well, I’m single and enjoying this freedom and the liberty. I think we can make different choices at this time than we may have at other times. I guess, don’t be afraid… I have, definitely.”
Kylie’s raft of dating dramas – and her 2005 battle with breast cancer – have highlighted both her vulnerability and her indomitable strength, leading her army of fans to rally behind her. She admitted: “There’s some romances I maybe could have done without, but it’s all part of what makes us human and our understanding of everything.”
