MCDONALD'S fans have been raving over a popular item that has returned to the menu.

The fan-favourite Mozzarella Bites have come back to menus as a nice replacement for the Cheese & Herb Melts.

The delicious bites have a warm and gooey cheesy centre encased in a crispy coating and can be served with a tomato dip for £2.39.

One Maccies fan was thrilled with what they bought and quickly took to social media to gush about the tasty snack.

Posting on the Facebook group, Newfoodsuk, they voiced their happiness at the McDonald's offering.

They wrote: "So glad the Mozzarella Bites are back at McDonald's!"

Viewers were quick to praise the snack with one saying they were "delicious".

Another user on Facebook said: "I need these!"

Many viewers tagged their friends to let them know about the incredible deal.

It comes as McDonald's launched its latest menu shakeup earlier this week including a never-before-seen burger. 

The fast food giant added a total of eight new items to its main offering, including returning favourites.

The new and returning items landed on menus across the UK and just days ago.

News of the menu shakeup has been the topic of conversation between all fans since it was first announced on May 15.  

Among the range is the brand new Hat Trick burger and a new McFlurry which are proving a big hit with fans. 

The burger boasts three beef patties, two slices of cheese, grilled onions, mustard and ketchup all in a glazed sesame seed bun.

The Hat Trick is priced at £5.89 but you will be able to upgrade to a meal with medium fries and a drink for £7.69.

The Skittles McFlurry is a soft dairy ice cream swirled with chewy Skittles fudge pieces and sugary pearls, topped with a purple Skittles-flavoured sauce.

A new nine Chicken Selects Sharebox has arrived for £8.49, answering the prayers of Chicken Select fans.

If you think you can handle it, a new Chicken Sharebox is also on menus for £10.59.

Inside you'll find six Chicken Selects, 12 Chicken McNuggets, plus two McNuggets dips and two Selects dips.

For those who favour a hot dessert the Galaxy Chocolate and Raspberry Pie (£1.99) are now on the cards.

It may put fans in mind of the Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie which left menus in March.

Ice lattes are also back for £2.49 and so are the Galaxy Caramel Mcflurry for £2.19.
