Steph told fans that she's joining the wellness industry and will be studying at the Jay Shetty Life Coaching school.

Steph said: "I love my job, I love my career, the proffession I've been in since I was 18-years-old.

"I'm not leaving it, just let me say that, I'm not leaving it, I'm gonna carry on acting but I have other passions that I want to pursue.

"So for about a month now, I have been studying to enter a new career, a new field in the wellness industry.

"I have been accepted and enrolled into the Jay Shetty Certification Life Coaching school and honestly, it's changed my life.

"It is changing my life and it's something that I've wanted to do for a couple of years now but because I've been so busy working on Hollyoaks, I've not even thought that I could even do it.

"So this is what I'm doing, it's incredible and I hope that I can help Jay change a billion lives.

"If I'm just a little tiny part of it, I want to be on that journey. I hope you all follow me on that journey."

One fan commented: "Great to see you doing so well in the school! Loving your participation too!"

Whilst another added: "Amazing news. Those doors will continue to open. Congratulations."

The Jay Shetty school reassured the star commenting: "Steph - We’re happy to have you and looking forward to all the tremendous impact you’ll be making!"

And Steph's Hollyoaks co-star Gary Lucy commented : "That’s better", alongside heart emojis.

Steph's character Cindy Cunningham was axed along with 20 other cast members with Cindy being the only original character included.

Steph has spoken out since being dropped from the show, sharing her heartbreak and utter disbelief that she’ll be saying goodbye to Cindy and admitting: “I did expect more loyalty after almost three decades.”

And Steph has had to think about the financial implications of losing her job, adding: "We’re just normal people who happen to be on the telly, we still have all pressures of paying the bills - so I won’t be taking time out."

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Steph said: “I was learning all week of the people who were going, and I remember crying at one of them, and I had this gut feeling that I would be too.

“But another part of me was thinking ‘I’ve just signed a year-long contract, surely it won’t be me’. Everyone was telling me I would be fine as I’m an original character.

“In the meeting they read from a script and a tear fell from my eye because I could just feel it in the room.

“They got to the end and said ‘And with that, we will be losing Cindy from the show’. I just kept saying ‘I don’t understand’. I was very distraught, I didn’t take it well - I was probably the most dramatic person they told.

“I just kept telling them ‘I’m an original character’. I was clutching at anything - telling them ‘but I was the first person to give birth on the show!’ I could see the distress I was causing them because they were upset that I was so upset.”

Yesterday Steph took to Instagram to reflect on her emotional day saying goodbye to some crew members as she is just weeks away from leaving the soap for good.

She tearfully admitted that she can't fake a smile anymore and broke down in tears and said: "Today I had to say goodbye to some crew members I have been working with for the last 16 years.

"And known for the last 28 years. And it just hit me like a thunderbolt. I'm really going to miss these people."
