Bruce Willis is "so sweet" with his granddaughter and is doing "good" amid his dementia struggles, his daughter has revealed.
The Die Hard actor, 69, was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, known as FTD, last year and has been getting cared for by his family. Amid his struggles, his daughter Rumer Willis has said he's developed a sweet bond with her 13-month-old daughter Louetta.
During an appearance on the Today show, Rumer shared: "He's so good. I actually got to see him right before I came out [to New York]." She added: "And Lou is just starting to walk a little bit, and she was walking over to him, and it was so sweet."

Rumer believes her father is a true "girl dad", saying: "It's so nice because I feel like my dad is just like - he's a girl dad, through and through. It almost unlocks that kind of little-kid, girl-dad thing. He's so sweet with her."

Rumer emphasised the importance of speaking publicly about Bruce's health issues, hoping to provide comfort and support to others in similar situations. She explained: "Our vulnerability and transparency as a family about what he's going through to me is so important because if it can have any impact on another family that is struggling in any way with something like this, or bring more attention to the disease in hopes of finding a cure or anything that can be of service to anybody else, I think is really important."
The 35-year-old, who shares her daughter with boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas, has been deeply moved by the overwhelming support following her father's diagnosis. She shared: "People will stop me on the street or at the airport, wherever it is, and are so effusive about how much they love him, how much of an impact he's had on them, or just that they're sending love to our family. And it really makes me a proud daughter."
