Arsenal are in pole position to sign Benjamin Sesko this summer as Mikel Arteta seeks a new striker to fire his side to the Premier League title.
The Gunners came agonisingly close to ending their long title drought for a second consecutive year only for Manchester City to pip them at the post again. But after taking things to the final day, Arteta and co will be determined to go one better next year.
As revealed by Mirror Football on Thursday, Sesko is Arsenal's top summer transfer target and the highly sought after Red Bull Leipzig forward, 20, favours a move to the Emirates.
And with Arsenal fancied to get a £45million summer deal over the line during the transfer window, we take a look at how they could line up with Sesko up front next season...
In goal, David Raya is a certainty to start the 2024/25 campaign as first-choice. The Spaniard enjoyed a positive season on loan and a permanent deal has already been agreed.
Premier League odds and betting tipsIn front of Raya, it remains to be seen if Arsenal will attempt to bring in any new faces in defence. It seems a given, though, that William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes will remain as Arteta's first-choice central defensive partnership.
Jurrien Timber had seriously rotten luck during his maiden season at the Emirates. After recovering from an ACL injury in the final weeks of the season, he could be Arteta's first-choice left-back after impressing in such a role prior to his injury. Ben White should continue as the Gunners' No.1 man at right-back.

Playing in a 4-3-3 formation, two of the three midfield slots are bankers. Declan Rice underlined why the club shelled out a record £105million to sign him last season, while captain Martin Odegaard led by example with a number of spellbinding displays.
It was claimed last year that Arteta had designs on playing Kai Havertz as a left-sided No.8 after signing him from Chelsea. And although he finished the season in fine form leading the line for Arsenal, Sesko's arrival means Arteta can make that plan a reality.
Sesko will take the central striking position and will give Arsenal options in attack. The likes of Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli miss out in this line-up as Bukayo Saka takes his usual spot on the right and Leandro Trossard, who finished the season second in the Arsenal scoring charts with 17 goals, plays off the right.
