Renee Zellweger is working on her new Bridget Jones movie, Mad About The Boy.
Production continues across London, with Renee returning as her titular character. The film follows Bridget's life with her kids, shared with late ex Mark Darcy. Based on the book of the same name, Bridget's former flame passed away in a tragic accident, leaving the mum-of-two to look after their daughter Mabel and son Billy on her own.
Images exclusively obtained by the Mirror show Renee in character, shooting the film's first school run scenes as she's seen walking with the youngers in their uniform. She cuts a casual figure in a dressy get-up, covering her clothing in a cream-quilted coat.

Other actors in the frame include one of her upcoming love interests, Mr Walker, played by Chiwetel Ejiofor – also pictured on the capital city production set was actress Leila Farzad.
It looks to be the first time Bridget's kids are introduced to Mr Walker, who is thought to be playing a PE teacher at the school. Renee's character is seen beaming as she chats to Chiwetel, who was dressed to impress in a well-fitted suit for the kids' school run.

Renee's character's other interest is One Day star Leo Woodall, who plays Rockstar - Bridget's new toyboy in the new upcoming film.
In scenes reminiscent of the infamous fireman's pole incident - where TV reporter Bridget famously flashed her bum while being filmed sliding down one in a fire station - the new film sees her scale a tree while trying to reach a stranded child in Hampstead Heath, North London. Much to Bridget's delight, she's rescued by the park attendant, wearing Hampstead Heath branded uniform. Woodall, 27, was also filmed having a chat with the child actor who plays Bridget's son Billy.

Familiar faces will also make an appearance - Hugh Grant's character Daniel Cleaver features, while Bridget re-ignites their on-off situationship - despite the third movie, 2016's Mr Darcy's Baby, showing his funeral. With more details emerging about the new Bridget instalment, fans can't wait to see the revival of Helen Fielding's character, who was first played by Zelwegger in 2001.
