A teenager has been arrested after three people died in a flat in Luton on Friday morning.
Police were called to a flat in Leabank at around 5:30am to conduct a welfare check following a report.
Three people were found with injuries at the property and all died at the scene, the force said.
An 18-year-old man was arrested in Bramingham Road a short time later and remains in custody for questioning.
Detective Superintendent Rob Hall said: ‘This is a truly appalling incident which has sadly resulted in the tragic deaths of three people.
‘We understand this news will be incredibly shocking, but please be assured we will work tirelessly to establish the full circumstances surrounding these deaths.’
