Stacey Solomon shared the results of her hairstyle blunder as she joked about looking like Miss Trunchbull from Matilda.
The Loose Women panellist, 33, was experimenting with her hair and decided to tie her locks up into a tight bun.
She used Molly-Mae Hague's go-to hairstyle as a reference as she complained about how she looked.
"I just need to know the answer to this because it's bugging me. I thought I'd scrape my hair in a bun today because I keep seeing people do it," she said on her Instagram Stories.
"I've seen Molly-Mae do it, she looks so beautiful. I call it newborn fresh.
Stacey Solomon cradles baby bump after teasing she's weeks away from due date"You've got your newborn so you just scrape your hair back and chuck it in a bun and you just look pretty and natural and it just pulls all your face back."
She continued: "Why is it when I do it I look like Miss Trunchbull. Why? Why? Why don't I look newborn fresh like Molly?
"I look like I'm going to shove my newborn into the chokey. Why doesn't it suit me? Is it my face? Is it because I've got a long face? I just need to know."
The Chokey is a torture device featured in the book and film versions of Matilda.
In the clip, Stacey started out covering her hair while she explained the look before giggling and exposing it to her followers.
She also wrote a caption asking Molly-Mae Hague to share a tutorial for the slicked-back hairstyle.
Earlier this week, Stacey admitted she hadn't washed her hair in two weeks after welcoming her newborn daughter Belle.
The presenter admitted she didn't have the energy to do it.
Stacey shared a video of herself in which she mentioned her older children having returned to school after half-term. She subsequently mentioned her own appearance.
She told her followers in the video: "I don't usually look like this, I've put some makeup on because it's my dad's birthday, so I've tried to make an effort to go for dinner."
Stacey Solomon says her life a 'mess' as she makes New Year's resolution"By making effort I mean I've put some foundation on and a bow in my hair at the hope that no one will notice I still haven't washed it since I've given birth," she continued.
