Police hunt for schoolboy, 11, who ’sexually assaulted woman’ in broad daylight

The incident happened when a boy aged 11-12, approached a woman in Woodford, Northamptonshire, and touched her inappropriately, police said

Police have launched an urgent hunt for a schoolboy after a woman was sexually assaulted in broad daylight.

The incident happened on Tuesday, December 17, between 12pm and 12.30pm, when a boy aged 11-12, approached a woman in Woodford, Northamptonshire, and touched her inappropriately.

The suspect is described as a white boy with short hair and wearing blue jeans and a black bomber jacket. He later left in the direction of Mill Road before the incident was reported to police.

Witnesses are being asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101.

A spokesman said: "Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted in High Street, Woodford. 

"The incident happened on Tuesday, December 17, between 12pm and 12.30pm, when a boy approached a woman and touched her inappropriately. The suspect is described as a white boy, aged 11-12, with short, light brown hair and wearing a black bomber jacket and blue jeans. 

He walked away in the direction of Mill Road. Witnesses or anyone with information should call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
