Woman raped near Glasgow subway station: Police launch investigation

Police are investigating the rape of a woman near an underground station in Glasgow.

The woman was attacked at about 20:00 on Monday night at an underpass on Garscube Road, near Cowcaddens station.

The underpass has since been closed as police investigate.

Police said inquiries were ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8pm on Monday, 3 February, 2025 we received a report of the serious sexual assault of a woman at an underpass on Garscube Road, Glasgow.

"Enquiries are ongoing and the underpass is closed to pedestrians."
