Davis, 28, announced the date of the highly-anticipated bout in a tweet on Friday afternoon.

“April 22, 2023, Las Vegas. It’s on!” the Tank wrote on Friday afternoon.

"#DavisGarcia GOOOOO."

Garcia, 24, shared a similar post about two hours later, attaching a poster showing the two fighters squaring off.

It's understood Davis and Garcia have agreed on a non-title 136-pound catchweight contest, although official confirmation of the weight class is yet to be released.

Similarly, it hasn't been yet revealed where the blockbuster clash will take place.

The MGM Grand Garden Arena — which hosted the fabled dust-up between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao in 2015 — is among the possible venues for the big event.

Another is T-Mobile Arena where Mayweather fought Conor McGregor in 2017.

Allegiant Stadium, the home of the Las Vegas Raiders, has also been mentioned as a potential venue.

Davis has won all of his 28 contests, finishing 26 of them by knockout.

And Garcia has a perfect 23-0 record, including 19 stoppages.

The agreement comes after years of bad blood and trash-talk between the two boxing stars — and despite the complications caused by the fighters belonging to different promotions.

In the end, the two sides agreed the April showdown will be staged by PBC and shown on Showtime PPV — Tank's stable and broadcaster — while also being distributed through DAZN.

And if Garcia wins and Davis triggers his rematch clause, the second fight will be on a show staged by Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy and broadcast by DAZN PPV — Garcia's partners.

Davis and Garcia will be able to trade blows even though Tank may face jail time in relation to a hit-and-run accident.

However, his sentencing hearing is scheduled for May 5, after the Garcia bout.
