Talk of the romance spiked after the 29-year-old Victoria announced her separation from her property developer husband of six years Werner Muerz, 46.
The heiress to the multi-billion pound crystal jewellery giant Swarovski apparently hit it off with Mateschitz, 30, after a date in January.
Austrian media report that the pair were seen at the Hahnenkamm Races together at Kitzbuehel ski resort.
The two reportedly hit it off, and have been very close ever since.
