But you could save hundreds a year by using the website's broadband comparison tool.

The tool compares broadband speeds, prices and when a deal ends across different providers so you can work out which offer best suits your needs.

In the newsletter, MoneySavingExpert.com said many on older deals are paying £30 to £45 a month but you can get faster speeds for less than £19 a month.

But you'll have to be fast, as a lot of the deals on MoneySavingExpert's tool finish within days if not weeks.

How else can I save on my broadband bill?

Households will be looking for ways to reduce their outgoings as the cost of living soars.

Food prices have surged in recent months, as have energy bills despite the government introducing a discount.

Beyond switching your broadband deal there are other ways you can slash your bill and save money.

A lot of companies offer "bundle deals", where you can get broadband as part of a package of streaming services and other perks.

So if you watch a lot of TV or Netflix, you could save by going with one of these.

Simply setting a reminder of when your current broadband deal is due to finish could help you save money too.

Most contracts run out after 12 to 24 months and after that go up in price.

So putting a reminder in your diary in the weeks before your deal expires gives you enough time to look around for a better one.
