EUROVISION act Mae Muller has opened up on her battles with anxiety and imposter syndrome ahead of representing the UK at the iconic music event.
The Sun was first to report how Mae, 25, who has supported Little Mix on tour, landed the plum gig after her rise to stardom.
Mae revealed she was forced to keep her Eurovision entry secret for two months after she was confirmed to represent the UK.
She is best known for her song 2021 tune Better Days.
After initially struggling to make a break in the music industry, she turned to social media aged 19 to boost her profile.

Yet despite her fame, she still has her niggling doubts.
Prior to her Eurovision announcement, Mae told Glamour Magazine: "I have imposter syndrome, but I also have kind of the opposite as well.
"It's funny to hear people say ‘Oh my God, how do you feel, it's happening so fast?’.
"But in my head I'm like, ‘Oh my gosh, it's not happening' or ‘What do I need to do to make this actually happen?’."
She added: "I think that's where my anxiety comes from, because I got to a point where I started to compare myself a little bit and I've always been quite bad with that, I'm like, ‘Oh, but they're doing that, and they're doing that and I'm not there yet.’
"I think it's really hard [to ignore] those voices inside your head.
"It's really important to just know how to that switch off and to talk to yourself in a nicer way and not compare yourself.
"Really believe that you deserve to be here and you deserve all the good things that are happening to you."
Mae will take to the stage in Liverpool on May 13 with female empowerment pop banger, I Wrote A Song.
She has been hand picked by BBC bosses and industry execs who have been quietly watching her career for a number of years.

Yet bookies Ladbrokes aren't so sure.
They have pushed the country's odds of winning out to 20/1 (from 12/1).
Jessica O'Reilly of Ladbrokes said: “Unfortunately the odds suggest the UK won't be going one further than the 2022 result and Mae Muller could struggle for points on the night.”
