As NHS waiting times for GPs, ambulances and hospitals spiral out of control, our Prime Minister has refused to say whether he uses private healthcare.
He says bringing down these delays is a key priority, but dismissed his own healthcare arrangements as being 'not really relevant'.
This prompted Labour to accuse Rishi Sunak of giving the impression of someone who 'not only doesn't use the NHS, but doesn't understand the scale of the challenges'.
Even the head of the Royal College of Nursing Pat Cullen told the PM to clear the air and 'come clean' about the type of healthcare he uses.
She told the BBC: "I think as a public servant, you ought to be clear with the public whether or not you are using private health cover.
Hospitals run out of oxygen and mortuaries full amid NHS chaos"I think he needed to come clean. As a public servant he is elected by the public, so he is accountable to the public, and when you're accountable to the public, you have to be honest with them."
Last year The Guardian reported Mr Sunak was indeed registered with a private GP in London.
What do YOU think?
Should Rishi admit if he uses a private GP?
