JULIA Bradbury has been praised by fans after she bravely revealed her mastectomy scar 16 months after breast cancer surgery.
Since battling cancer, the Countryfile star, 52, has immersed herself in nature every day to restore and protect her health.

Fans were touched by Julia's post, and flooded her Instagram page with messages of support.

A second said: "Beautiful, scars hold a lot of emotion. I’ve had people break down, cry and feel nauseous.
"Some don’t want you to touch it others embrace it. The body remembers and the story of the scar matters as it’s is a huge part of the healing process."
The presenter has been praised by fans after she refused to submit to self-pity despite having had surgery to remove a 6cm tumour in her left breast.
Now in remission, the mum of three has a positive outlook as she reflects on the past 12 months. She says: “Having a mastectomy, or a double mastectomy, is a huge shock for any woman.
“It’s profoundly difficult and emotional to get through. But I am extremely grateful I was able to have immediate reconstruction, because of the type of cancer I had and its location.
“I’m very conscious that there are still lots of women waiting for reconstruction, or who don’t have that as an option, or remain flat.
“So the real focus for me is what I do have in life. The statistics are that one in two of us will get cancer in our lifetime.
