IF you are already ironing your gloves and petticoats in preparation for the third series of Bridgerton this year, a visit to Bath will help scratch that itch.

Much of the hit Netflix show was shot in the Somerset city, with plenty of iconic filming locations to spot along the city’s cobbled streets, including the Modiste dress shop, Lady Danbury’s townhouse and Gunter’s tea shop.

Book a room in the Francis Hotel, where you can sip on a “Daphne” cocktail, inspired by the lead character, made from gin, Earl Grey tea syrup, lemon juice and rosé champagne.

Mega-fans can really get in character by booking a Regency-style afternoon tea in the hotel’s dainty tea room.

A night’s B&B costs from £139, based on two sharing (see francishotel.com).
