ANDY FARRELL provided a health update on Garry Ringrose after the Ireland star suffered a terrifying injury against Scotland.
The Leinster centre was forced off following a sickening collision in the second-half of Ireland's 22-7 win at Murrayfield on Sunday.
Play was stopped for up to seven minutes as Ringrose received treatment on the field before being stretchered off in a neck brace.
Thankfully, he was conscious and able to give the applauding crowd a thumbs up.
And speaking to RTE afterwards, Farrell said that he was up and talking.

He said: "We were texting his mother and father there because they were very concerned.
"There were safety checks there - precaution-wise - around necks and stuff but he was up and talking so hopefully he will be fine."
The loss of Ringrose and the nature of it provided a dampener on what was an otherwise triumphant afternoon for Farrell's men.
Tries from Player of the Match Mack Hansen, James Lowe, and Jack Conan sealed a priceless victory which sets up a Grand Slam decider against England in Dublin next weekend.
However, Ireland will have several injuries to nurse in the meantime, with Ringrose, Ronan Kelleher, Dan Sheehan, Caelan Doris, AND Iain Henderson picking up knocks in Edinburgh.
And after joking that he would have to scout the Old Belvedere U12s for replacements, Farrell expressed confidence that the depth is there to compensate for the injury list.
He said: "We got what we wanted, to take it to the last weekend, to be in this kind of position.
"We need to recover well and enjoy this victory. We are home on a flight tonight and easy day tomorrow and dust ourselves down properly.
"We are going to have a hurt England coming to the Aviva next week but it is going to be some weekend with Paddy's weekend.
"We have got a good squad.

"We have got players who have not played any rugby at all. You look at Tadhg Furlong, for example, and Andrew Porter playing 80 minutes there as a loosehead prop.
"Jamison Gibson=Park coming back and Robbie's not played all year, etc."
