Unfortunately you can't change the voice on Google Maps through the app itself.
There is a way you can change it based on the iOS language settings.
But it doesn't use a different English accent - it will only switch to alternative languages.

Select Language & Region.
Then, Add Lanuage.

How to change Google Maps’ voice
To change the Google Maps app voice on Android, follow these instructions.
- Click on your Google photo in the top right and find Settings.
- Scroll down to where it says Voice Search.
- Choose from one of the languages listed.

For now, users are limited to only the voices on Google Maps.
