Donald Trump decided to end 2022 in style with another huge party - and he gave some worrying words about the year ahead.
The former US President endured a pretty miserable year, which was full of family tensions, political defeats and the news that he is facing four criminal charges.
Just days before Christmas, Trump received the unwanted gift of the report from the committee investigating the 2021 Capitol Riots.
After a rough ride in the last few weeks, the former The Apprentice boss would have wanted to let his hair down at his annual New Year's Eve bash.
Hundreds of guests joined him at his Mar-a-Lago mansion for the celebrations, but there were some very notable absences.

But it wasn't the case this time around, as the most high-profile figures were some of his remaining political allies.
Legal adviser Rudy Giuliani, businessman Mike Lindell, also known as the My Pillow Guy, and pollster Dick Morris all walked down the red carpet.
He was obviously joined by wife Melania, who was wearing a stunning glittering silver dress, while Trump was in black tie.
Trump's two most prominent children, Donald Jr. and Ivanka, were reportedly missing from the huge party.
It comes as Ivanka tries to distance herself from her father, stating that she won't be helping with his presidency bid and not turning up to that big announcement either.

This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics," she said in a statement on her Instagram stories.
"While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena.
"I am grateful to have had the honor of serving the American people and I will always be proud of many of our administration’s accomplishments."
One person who did attend was Trump's second-oldest son, Eric, and his wife, Lara.

Trump did answer questions from some of the reporters who had gathered there, but sidestepped questions on calls for an investigation of COVID-19 vaccines and whether he supported a national abortion ban.
He also walked away from a question about how the second anniversary of the January 6 riots and alleged coup attempt at the U.S. Capitol should be observed.

Trump claimed he had received some poll numbers that looked "fantastic" but did not give any specifics.
"We need a strong border and we need it now," he said while making his way into the ballroom, then added: "We also have to bring back the economy...with inflation destroying our country."
Will 2023 be a better year for Trump? Well, it doesn't look like it.
For various reasons, his political career now sits on a knife edge - and his dreams of entering the White House once again look to be in tatters.
Voters who were originally attracted to Trump's brand of brashness, hyperbole and his America first attitude in 2016 are starting to turn their backs on him.

Many voters are now turning towards Florida governor Ron De Santis, who Trump has branded "Ron De Sanctimonious".
Most of the former President's candidates in November's midterms struggled and pollsters believe his conservative base are wanting "Trumpism without Trump".
Democrats in Congress also released his 'unusual' and 'complicated' tax returns, which have revealed he paid no taxes in 2020.
According to the Washington Post, Trump has been left isolated and starved of attention at Mar-a-Lago, so he perhaps needs a new hobby other than golf.
It looks set to be another tough year for Trump, but he will be hoping his presidency bid gets back on track.
