LUCY Fallon has enjoyed her first holiday away as a new mum, with adorable baby Sonny.

The former Coronation Street actress, 27, and footballer boyfriend Ryan Ledson, 25, welcomed their baby boy into the world on 30th January 2023.

And they’ve seen been adapting to life as new parents and sharing a look at their adorable tot on social media.

This weekend, in a bid to enjoy some family time, the actress headed off for a staycation with her family – and wowed fans with the beautiful surroundings.

Blonde beauty Lucy headed to Elm Escapes Lodges in Wales, with greenery surrounding their weekend accommodation.

Lucy and Ryan headed to the staycation spot with pals, and she filmed as her boyfriend enjoyed the hot tub in a clip entitled “hot tub dads.”

She also filmed her adorable son in his pram and told fans the little one was taking in the views.

In another clip Lucy danced about with her pal who could be seen pushing a pram, as she wrote: “Our first family hol.”

And the rooms are something to marvel, with forest views, double beds and plenty of amenities.

The lounge looks snug with a flat screen TV, fireplace, wooden furniture and cosy rug, with the lodges boasting an idyllic setting for a family getaway.

Lucy’s trip comes after she was ‘mum shamed’ and warned over her new contraception choice.

The 27-year-old recently took to social media to tell fans she’s been using Natural Cycles contraceptive app to "prevent pregnancy naturally" as she tries to forgo medical interventions like the Pill or the Coil.

In the paid sponsorship, she shared a photo of herself holding up her beautiful little boy, and wrote: “Since having Sonny, I have been a lot more conscious of what I am putting into my body and how in control I am over the choices I make.

"Being pregnant for the first time, giving birth, and caring for our amazing little boy has also made me want to reconnect with myself and understand all the changes my body is going through.

"So as part of my postpartum journey, I have started to use the @naturalcycles contraceptive app, not only to be able to prevent pregnancy naturally without having to worry but also to be able to track & learn the patterns of my cycle and know when my body starts ovulating again," she said.

Lucy then added information about the app including it being "FDA cleared" as a contraceptive app, which uses body temperature and other indicators to determine your fertility.

The company add Natural Cycles is 93% effective with typical use and 98% effective with perfect use (abstaining from sex on 'red days'' when the app identifies you as fertile).

However, fans aren't so sure it's wise for the new mum, and have spoken out against her decision to use the app as her new contraception, citing new mums can oftentimes be more fertile in the weeks after giving birth.

"My children are 12 months apart. Be careful. You are super fertile right now. Exclusive breastfeeding is not birth control. Congrats!!!" one wrote.

"Be careful just because your[e] not [ovulating] does not mean you won’t get pregnant," said a second. "You have your best chance at getting pregnant when you are but there are many myths on the internet like a woman can’t get pregnant when on her period this is just not true very unlikely but can still happen."

"Be careful I know a few people who have got pregnant using this app!" said a third, with several others claiming the same thing.
