ZAYN Malik and Selena Gomez have now taken their romance public by going on an intimate dinner date together in New York.
Thursday’s night out comes just weeks after eagle-eyed fans spotted the ex-One Direction star was following the actress on Instagram.
Zayn is selective with who he follows on social media and there was a flurry of TikTok speculation when a Manhattan hostess claimed to have seated them at a table.
A US source said: “Selena and Zayn walked in holding hands and were kissing. Most restaurant staff and restaurant-goers didn’t notice them.
“It seemed like they were comfortable together and it was clear that it was a date.”

What makes the pairing slightly awkward is that Selena is friends with Zayn’s ex, model Gigi Hadid, who is the mother of his daughter Khai, two.
The long-term on-off couple split in 2021 following a row between the singer and her mother Yolanda, which led to him being dropped by his US label, RCA Records.
During one of their earlier break-ups in 2019, Gigi was linked to one of Selena’s exes, streetwear designer Samuel Krost, but she insisted they were just mates.
So far, so confusing.
The new relationship could be a positive fresh start for Zayn, after his family wanted him to relocate from New York to his native Bradford amid concerns over well-documented cannabis use and anxiety struggles.
A source added: “Zayn’s life has been turbulent in recent years and his loved ones are hopeful that Selena will help ground him and be a calming influence.
“They’re well suited and are both quite spiritual, so could be a great match in the long run.”
I’m sure a double date with Selena’s BFFs Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz will be on the horizon, after she had to laugh off rumours she was in a throuple with them.
It seems that Selena, who has previously dated The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, Taylor Lautner and Nick Jonas, has found someone to make sweet music with for now.

She was seen for the first time in her role as Harley Quinn as she filmed in New York for the sequel to 2019’s Joker, which is due to be released next year.
Getting into character, Gaga was snapped being ushered away by police while shaking her fist in the air.
She is in the role made famous by Margot Robbie, who first played Harley in 2016 film Suicide Squad.
It comes as the singer is rumoured to have parted from her boyfriend Michael Polansky. Let’s hope it’s not another Bad Romance.
Chloe’s chance to telly her story
CHLOE Madeley has just filmed a pilot reality show for ITVBe, I can reveal.
The fitness guru recently had daughter Bodhi with rugby player hubby James Haskell, and TV chiefs hope the project will repeat the success of Sam Faiers's and Ferne McCann's parenting shows.
It will include cameos from Chloe’s parents Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan. A TV source said: “Chloe’s incredibly open and honest on camera and her parents are TV gold.”
She recently told how motherhood had brought her closer to Judy and said: “It sounds fickle and immature but I’m closer to Mum now than to my dad. She has become my favourite.”

STORMZY has been back in the studio working on a new record to coincide with his summer show in Victoria Park, East London, in August.
It will follow on from his gospel- inspired album This Is What I Mean, which hit No1 last year.
A source said: “Stormzy is going back to his grime roots and doing what he does best. The mix tape will up the ante just in time for his big homecoming.”
HEAVY-DUTY RETURN BY FLASH FOUR
ROCK band The Heavy made their triumphant return with this sold-out performance.
Opening with hit Short Change Hero at the East London venue, the four-piece of Kelvin Swaby, Spencer Page, Chris Ellul and Dan Taylor had Wednesday’s packed crowd thumping from the first note.
As they approach the release of their sixth album, Amen, next month, the band from Bath did not shy away from performing the new material.
This included Hurricane Coming, Stone Cold Killer and Feel The Love, along with the infectiously catchy Bad Muthaf****r.
For 90 minutes, and with ten musicians on stage, including a brass section, The Heavy weaved their way through blues, hip-hop and glimpses of gospel.
They wrapped up the night with Kelvin singing their biggest hit, How You Like Me Now? as the fans sang in unison and flashes of green and blue lit up the stage.
Molly’s ma gives Tyler thumbs-up
STRICTLY lovebirds Molly Rainford and Tyler West have taken the next step in their relationship.
CBBC presenter Molly has introduced her new man to mum Sarah.
The couple and Sarah enjoyed a Mother’s Day outing to New Wimbledon Theatre in London to watch Strictly professionals Gorka Marquez and Karen Hauer's new Firedance show.
A source said: “Tyler and Molly are smitten and family is important for both of them. Having her mum’s approval of Tyler is the icing on the cake.”
Molly previously said Sarah and her dad, ex-footballer Dave, did not want her “distracted” by lads on the BBC dance show.
It seems Tyler has truly won over her parents.
It comes as Tyler, who recently joined forces with the KFC Foundation and Comic Relief to shine a light on support for young people facing hardships, revealed he was the prankster on the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour.
He told The Sun on Sunday: “I was the ringleader on the Strictly Tour! I will 100 per cent take that.
“I was always on the fun bus - I mean my motto is vibes and energy so just seeing the positive side to things.
“It goes back to even like all of this, without getting too deep into it, I look back to so many low points throughout my life and then the fact that you are in this situation where you have just got the opportunity to just be positive, and put smiles on people’s faces, that for me is the real win, as opposed to any of the other stuff that comes with it, it was a real amazing experience."
He continued: “There were non-stop pranks on the bus, non-stop dance-offs and there were also so many funny memories.
“I think every single night the show just went a little bit more wild to the point that Anton Du Beke was swinging Shirley Ballas around by her ankles. I mean what more could you ask for really.”

Wearing the sort of eye-catching garb that might have Lady Gaga taking notes, her smoky voice and impeccable band brought the tear-soaked tunes from album Black Acid Soul to life.
Recent single Woman glistened, as did Moby collab Walk With Me.
Her delightful jazz and soul blend made the sizeable venue feel like a candlelit club.
A thundering version of The Beatles’ Come Together got heads nodding, before a glitterball descended for a closing cover of David Bowie's Life On Mars.
This Blackbird is only beginning to spread her wings.
I can’t wait to watch her soar.
