Four holidaymakers were stabbed "multiple times" at a drug-fuelled Airbnb party which has led to the arrest of six people.
On Monday morning at around 3.30am police were called to reports of a stabbing at a rental home in Marshall, North Carolina, US, which is roughly 150 miles northwest of Charlotte near the Tennessee border.
Madison County Sheriff Buddy Harwood said four people were stabbed "multiple times" during the incident.
It has led to the arrest of six people who are each charged with the possession of multiple drugs.
Police confirmed suspect Jay Caleb Bell was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, possession of psilocybin mushrooms, possession of cocaine, and possession of marijuana.

Each individual has a charge each of felony possession of psilocybin mushrooms, felony possession of cocaine, and possession of marijuana.
Sheriff Buddy Harwood said the stabbings were an "isolated incident" and all individuals received medical treatment for their stab wounds.
However, police have not confirmed whether drugs played a role in the stabbings.
The group were on holiday in the area but it remains unclear if they were all staying in the same rental house in Marshall, North Carolina.
Authorities have not disclosed where the holidaymakers were originally from as police continue to investigate the alleged stabbings.
Sheriff Buddy Harwood said: "All the individuals involved were vacationing in Madison County."
Airbnb confirmed its safety team are removing the guest who booked the reservation from their platform.
In addition, they are providing assistance to police and confirmed its safety team is helping to investigate the incident.
The company also added it was providing support to the host, whose home has now become a crime scene.

"We have also reached out to Sheriff Harwood to offer our support with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office’s investigation.”
Police confirmed the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigations is currently assisting with the investigation.
