ALISON Hammond has fuelled rumours she’s single after a cryptic comment on This Morning.

And in one segment during the show the pair discussed dating apps, and how some people prefer to wear green rings instead to signify single status.

Alison, 48, then flashed her own green ring which she wore on her little finger.

The TV presenter explained: “More people are wanting to meet people out and about and having a green ring might be a good idea so that people know you're single.

“As you can see, I've got my single ring on.”

Holly added to viewers: “Hopefully you won't need it for a lifetime."

The ring gives people who buy it a ‘lifetime membership’ to a single’s club, named The Pair Club.

It comes after Alison sparked rumours earlier this month that she’d split from her partner.

The 48-year-old was discussing Love Island spin-off show Romance Retreat with co-star Dermot O'Leary when she declared: "I'm single."

Dermot informed viewers that show bosses were particularly keen for "vibrant single parents" to which mum-of-one Alison replied: "Hey, I'm single."

It came just weeks after the father of her partner Ben Hawkins said a proposal could be imminent.

The February 24 edition of the show opened with the sound of wedding bells as Dermot declared: “I hear a congratulations are in order, someone is getting married.”

Laughing, Alison replied:  “Cut the music! I'm not engaged, I'm so sorry, I'm not engaged!

“I told you, if I was ever to get engaged or get married I would be the first person to tell you! I'd put it all over Instagram and TikTok!”

She continued: “Sorry, it's fake news! I'm not getting married. One day it might happen, but sorry babes but it's fake news.

“You'd be the first to know!”

Dermot jokingly replied: “I was looking forward to walking you down the aisle!”

Friends said Alison and Ben hit it off when she hired him to tend to her Midlands property nearly two years ago.

A pal said of the pair: “They love to hang out and have been for meals and down to the pub.

“They’re both down to earth and get on like a house on fire.

“She makes him laugh and Alison thinks it’s cute he still lives with his parents.”

Alison teased fans about her love interest and told them that she was willing to marry her “mystery man”.
