Fred, 51, is the maître d'hôtel and arguably the biggest face behind the hit Channel 4 factual entertainment series, First Dates.

But the star announced on Instagram that the next series of the show will have a completely different look.

The restaurant host looked his usual dapper self, as he revealed: I have some very good news to share with you today. The First Dates restaurant is just about to reopen.

"How exciting is that?! It's our 10th birthday. What a milestone! Tell you what, I can't believe it myself.

"I'm going to share with you a little secret. We are changing location and going to a brand new restaurant.

"So as you can imagine, I have been very busy behind the scene with the team getting everything ready in time for the opening."

He captioned the post confirming the news: "The First Dates restaurant is just about to re-open its doors. If you are looking for ❤️ all you need to do is apply."

This comes after the TV personality and Gordon Ramsay broke their silence following the shock news that Gino D’Acampo pulled out of their show.

But the TV chefs chose to plug their own ventures, rather than addressing their colleagues sudden decision.

Gordon, 56, shared a series of pictures of food from his restaurant Lucky Cat and urged his followers to book a place at the chef’s table.

Fred, 51, meanwhile posted a clip of his own show - Last Resort – with no comment on Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip.

Yesterday Gino, 46, left his fans gutted as he claimed it was impossible to do another series following a row over contracts.

In a lengthy statement, he insisted his friendships with Gordon and Fred meant more to him than the ITV show, which saw the food experts visiting various countries to explore the local cuisine.
