HOLLY Willoughby's replacement on This Morning has been revealed after the telly host called in sick "all week".

The much-loved star of the ITV show told fans last night that she would be missing out after contracting shingles.

Now, it has been confirmed that Holly, 41, will be replaced by Rochelle Humes for the week as she takes some extended time off.

This Morning took to Instagram to announce the news, alongside a snap of Holly, Rochelle, 34, and co-host Phillip Schofield.

The ITV show wrote: "It’s welcome back after the Easter holidays to Phillip and get better soon to Holly who’s off ill for a few days.

"Phillip and Rochelle have a packed show with Gyles and Camilla, John Torode, Josie, Dr Sara and a very special live announcement from Alison Hammond around midday!"

Fans flooded the comments section to gush over Holly, and send her "get well wishes" to return to the show soon.

"Welcome back Phillip and get well soon Holly, I love Rochelle as well, looking forward to watching," one said.

Another chimed in: "Get well soon, Holly!" as a third agreed: "Welcome Holly back soon, I have greatly missed her."

It comes after it was revealed that Phillip, 61, was due to return to the show this morning after three weeks off air.

The star went missing from the programme while his brother stood trial for a child sex abuse case earlier this month.

Phillip took a break during the case, which saw Timothy convicted of 11 sexual offences involving a child over three years from October 2016, including two of sexual activity.

An ITV Insider told The Sun: “Both Phillip and ITV agreed the time was right for his return.

“He is keen for normal life to return, and is very grateful for all the support from colleagues and friends behind the scenes.

“Everyone at ITV wants him back on air.”

The source added: “He’s very sad Holly won’t be joining him for his return but is looking forward to being back alongside Rochelle.”

For the last fortnight, Holly and Phil’s stand-ins have included Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary then Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle.

However, Phillip has been off for longer, being absent from the show since March 23.

He was off the programme on pre-planned leave while his brother stood trial at Exeter Crown Court.

Timothy Schofield, 54, was convicted of three counts of causing a child to watch sexual activity and three of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child.

The civilian police officer was also found guilty of three counts of causing a child to engage in sexual activity and two of sexual activity with a child.

Phillip said afterwards: "These are despicable crimes, and I welcome the guilty verdicts. As far as I am concerned, I no longer have a brother."
