LIVERPOOL will bid to continue their unlikely pursuit of the top four with victory over a Fulham side, whose impressive season seems to be fading out.

Liverpool vs Fulham betting preview

Liverpool’s hopes of returning to the Champions League were just about kept alive on Sunday thanks to their gifted injury-time winner against Spurs.

Still, blowing a 3-0 lead in that game was somewhat worrying and Jurgen Klopp will doubtless have let his players know that such complacency isn’t acceptable.

Expect a more ruthless home side here – and that doesn’t bode well for depleted Fulham.

Tim Ream and Andreas Pereira have both been ruled out for the rest of the campaign after picking up injuries against Manchester City on Sunday. They join the suspended Aleksandar Mitrovic on the sidelines, while Willian is again a doubt.

That’s a lot for this side to cope with – and things hadn’t been going well any way.

Fulham have now lost seven of their last nine in all competitions with their hopes of securing European football surely now over.

It’s hard to see what motivation they have left and so a routine Liverpool win isn’t hard to foresee.

Fulham did battle hard to stay in the game against City at the weekend but they were ultimately beaten by the better side to continue a theme against the big guns.

Marco Silva’s men have now played 10 matches against the current top six and taken just a single point from those games. That came back on the opening day, albeit it was against Liverpool.

Despite their mid-match blip against Spurs, Liverpool are clearly back in decent form – they’ve won four in a row to keep some pressure on Manchester United and Newcastle above – and should win this comfortably.

Liverpool vs Fulham best bets

Liverpool (-1) to win on the handicap

Liverpool are on a bit of a roll after four wins in a row and, importantly, they look full of goals.

In contrast, Fulham are sliding down the table after losing six of their least eight league games and injuries and suspensions are mounting up.

With Mitrovic, Pereira and Ream all out, Fulham will be missing the spine of their team and Anfield isn’t somewhere you want to go like that.

Liverpool to win by at least two clear goals looks the way to go.

Mo Salah to score at anytime

Salah has now scored in his last seven games at Anfield and has six in his last six Starts overall.

As noted above, it’s not hard to see Liverpool winning this with something to spare and if that is the case, Salah looks highly likely to be involved.

Following Sunday’s game against Spurs, punters also now know the Egyptian remains on penalty-taking duty, despite two recent misses, which only bolsters his chances in this market.

Antonee Robinson over 2 tackles

Left-back Robinson has been racking up the tackles of late, landing this bet in four of his last five games.

Now he’s set for one of his toughest assignments of the season, going up against the red-hot Salah.

In short, quotes of 13/10 look too good to ignore.
