When it comes to beauty hacks, TikTok is the place to be, and beauty fans think they’ve found the secret to achieving that 'Botox effect' for under £20.

The viral beauty hack involves mixing together two affordable serums from budget beauty brand The Ordinary which supposedly produce 'similar results' to Botox, Azzalure and other anti-wrinkle injections.

To test out the TikTok hack for yourself, you’ll need to combine serums Argireline solution 10% (£8.40) and Matrixyl 10% (£9) from The Ordinary, and apply the mixture daily for the best results.

At just £17.40 combined, they’re a fraction of the price of Botox injections, which can cost up to £400.

The Ordinaty’s Argieline Solution 10% claims be a "non-injective solution for dynamic lines,” helping to improve the appearance of facial areas prone to deep-set lines, while the Matrixyl 10% serum which contains hyaluronic acid is described as a “high performance solution that works to visibly combat signs of ageing.”

Beauty TikToker Sarah Palmyra went viral after posting a before and after video of her “mind-blowing” results, after using both serums together daily for just four weeks.

In the skincare tutorial, she said: “The argireline serum is a type of peptide that targets the neuromuscular connections to relax the muscles in your face. This is the first peptide of its kind to actually target dynamic wrinkles and prevent them from forming.”

Since then, plenty more people on TikTok have been trying out the viral hack for themselves, and have posted similar before and after results - claiming that the products have helped to “smooth out lines” and “tighten skin” - however there are some people who say it hasn’t made any difference to their skin.

Will you be trying out the viral TikTok hack? If so, you can pick up the The Ordinary's Argieline Solution 10% and the Matrixyl 10% serum now for just £17.40.
