His second daughter that he had with Rosalind Tong, Emily was born in 1965.
Barry Humphries had described himself as an "on and off" father and this very true when it comes to Emily.
The pair had lost touch and not spoken to one another for some 20 years.
However, when she heard about the complications her father was suffering she rushed to his bedside, immediately flying to Sydney.
Peter Ford, a reporter at Channel Seven's Sunrise, told The Sun: "I'm pleased to say that the estrangement has now been patched up, that's a good thing".
Oscar Valentine
Oscar Valentine opted for a career in the arts and became fine art dealer and journalist.
After struggling with drug and alcohol addictions himself, in the mould of his father who struggled with alcohol for a period, he went on to have a dramatic split from his father.
He announced in 2017 that he was to drop his father's name as he was angry at the way he was being treated by him.

Rupert Humphries
Rupert Humphries opted to become a video game voice actor and writer.
He is best known for writing huge hits such as Red Dead Redemption, Grand Theft Auto IV and Grand Theft Auto V.
Born in 1982, Rupert's relationship with his father was not thought to have suffered the strains of his brother and he was photographed accompanying his father to collect his MBE.
He also travelled to be at his father's bedside when he became ill.
