McDonald's employees work tirelessly to serve customers all around the world. While they are usually more than happy to serve you, it turns out there are certain things us customers do that really get on their nerves.

Letting us behind the scenes of a McDonald's restaurant, an employee has shared some of the things that customers do that give her the "ick".

Sharing "icks", or really intense turn-offs that can be legitimate or obscure, has become a trend on TikTok, with many people sharing what gives them the "ick". It's also basically turned into people just telling their partner what annoys them about the other.

Now a Maccie's worker has shared some of the biggest "icks" she experiences while working.

In a recent TikTok video, Megan Grace said: "I've seen a lot of couples doing this, so I'm going to do this, but with customers. So here are things that customers do that give me the ick.

The first "ick" she described was when someone pulls up to the drive through and then "repeatedly" says hello before a worker has greeted you. This is something "everyone who has worked at McDonald's knows"

Megan Grace added: "I can hear you. I just haven't answered because I'm in the middle of doing something. Just wait five seconds, please. I'd really appreciate it."

The second annoyance she pointed out was when people leave the tables in a very messy condition after eating in the restaurant.

She added: "I get that it is part of our job to make sure stuff is tidy and clean stuff up," but she says some people leave all their rubbish on the tables when they "literally have to walk past the bin" when they exit.

Megan Grace continued: "Number three, complaining about food taking ages when it's very busy on front." She begs customers that if you can see that it's busy and that's why it's taking a long time, just "be patient".

She also adds that this can cause a lot of "extra stress" and has made her "cry on occasions".

Next, Megan asks customers not to say their order is wrong at the drive through, after they have already paid.

She continued: "If I pull up the order on the screen and ask you if it's correct and you say yes, don't tell me it's wrong once I've taken the payment. I can't do anything once I've taken the payment. That's why we ask you before."

Lastly, she says the fifth one is "complaining about hot drinks being cold when they were served 15 minutes ago."
