Lorine Zineb Nora Talhaoui, known as Loreen, is a Swedish singer who first found fame on Sweden’s version of Pop Idol.
The star competed on the show in 2004, finishing in fourth place.
She was born on October 16, 1983 in Danderyd, Sweden.

She is also known for her political activism, and performed at a fundraising gala in support of Ukraine after the Russian invasion in March 2022.

Loreen was performing her song Tattoo at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest.
The song was written by Thomas G:son and Peter Boström, who also wrote her past hit Euphoria, amongst other songwriters.

Sweden has won Eurovision seven times.
Ireland is the second most-successful country with seven victories, while Luxembourg, France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom have all won five times.
Sweden's first Eurovision victory was in 1974, when ABBA performed their hit Waterloo.
