JANE McDonald was all smiles during rehearsals of the British Soap Awards after taking over from Phillip Schofield.
The Sun exclusively revealed that the BAFTA Award winning TV star will be stepping in to host the awards instead of Phillip Schofield.
Now, Jane, 60, has been snapped beaming on the set of the British Soap Awards, that will be taking place tonight.
Jane, who has previously presented Loose Women and most recently her show My Yorkshire, could be seen beaming as she posed during rehearsals.
The star even grabbed a selfie, whilst sporting a casual outfit ahead of the star-studded event.

Jane also sat amongst the empty audience seats, plotted out with signs for the array of exclusive guests that will be arriving later this evening.
It comes after Phillip, 61, announced last week that he had quit ITV entirely.
Including the award show, which he has hosted since 2006.
Jane took to social media to gush about her new presenting role, writing to her fans: "I'm so excited to be this years host for The British Soap Awards!!
"I LOVE my soaps, so this is just a dream come true.
"I can’t wait to see all our wonderful soap nominees and celebrate all their hard work with them - roll on the awards! Tuesday, 8pm, ITV & ITVX."
Phillip made the shock decision to quit the awards show after it was revealed he had an affair with a much younger male ITV employee – in wake of been dropped from This Morning.
The British Soap Awards have now deleted any mention of Phillip from their official website, despite his long-running history of hosting the show.
Phillip's exit was confirmed after weeks of speculation surrounding his future and a feud with co-host Holly Willoughby.
The former This Morning presenter has since broken his silence by approaching The Sun for an interview.

Despite the drama surrounding the event, fans are delighted that the Cruising with Jane McDonald star will be taking over.
One fan wrote to social media: "I'm so proud of you Jane babes I love you."
Another exclaimed: "Congratulations Jane, I'll watch it now you're presenting."
