The family of a student who died after developing complications from the Covid vaccine is suing the government in an unprecedented case.
George Watts Jr collapsed and died aged just 24 after responding badly to the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, a coroner found.
Now the family are suing the Department of Defense, blaming the government body of “willful misconduct” by promoting the vaccines as “safe and effective.”
The young man lived in Lockwood, New York, with his family and studied at nearby Corning Community College.
At the time, he had wanted to take classes in person which required a full vaccination.

But he soon developed flu-like symptoms. Despite multiple visits to the doctor he started coughing up blood and experienced pain in his feet, hands, and teeth. He also became extremely sensitive to sunlight.”
On October 27, 2021, George Jr. collapsed in his room and died with the autopsy later discovering it was due to “COVID-19 vaccine-related myocarditis.”
“I told him that I was going to take him to the emergency room the next day after I got out of work,” dad George Sr. told WETM. “We never made that trip to the emergency room.”
In court documents, the family allege the Pentagon “caused accelerated production and then pushed out hundreds of millions of vaccines for hundreds of millions of Americans while engaging in a deliberate and calculated mass-deception campaign specifically designed to obfuscate the fact that [Operation Warp Speed’s] vaccines weren’t licensed ‘safe and effective,’ were merely experimental, and legally could only be characterised as ‘may be effective but could not be pronounced safe.'”
Full FDA approval of the Pfizer vaccine didn't come until February 2022 but it was found to be safe for combatting the virus. These findings were backed by health bodies around the world and by the World Health Organisation.
The lawsuit continued: “By intentionally blurring the line of the critical distinction between ‘licensed’ and ‘experimental,’ DOD duped millions of Americans, including Mr, Watts, into being DOD’s human subjects in its medical experiment, the largest in modern history."
Families cannot sue vaccine makers like Pfizer and Moderna over any side effects or subsequent deaths.
The Watts lawsuit claimed that the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act allows government bodies to be sued if they engaged in “willful misconduct.”
According to the current advice from the FDA, myocarditis has occurred in some people (more common in males under 40) who have received the Pfizer and Comirnaty vaccines.
