SALT Bae has landed himself in hot water again after touting a £25 burger that has been branded an "insult to meat eaters and vegans."

The celebrity chef's latest barmy creation has miraculously managed to offend both sides by swapping out one of the main components.

He took to Instagram to promote the latest addition to the menu at his ridiculously pricey Nusr-Et restaurants across the world.

In the clip, Salt Bae - real name Nusret Gökçe - showed off his kitchen skills as he rustled up his controversial creation, the Avocado Burger.

The steakhouse mogul, known for his theatrics, filmed the intricate process of how he puts the unusual dish together.

The video posted on Thursday shows Salt Bae dramatically pouring a pan of melted cheese on six avocados that have been sliced in half.

He then adds a burger patty to each one, as well as messily dousing them in some kind of reduction.

Another hearty layer of molten cheese follows, before the other half of the avocado is slapped on top to form the makeshift burger bun.

And it wouldn't be a Salt Bae special without him spearing a knife through the middle and dumping a large sprinkle of salt on top.

He wraps up the wacky demonstration by proudly displaying his work on a wooden board and strangely says into the camera: "Avocado."

The Avocado Burger with a side of herb-crusted fries or parmesan and truffle fries will set you back between £19 and £25 at London's Nusr-Et branch in Knightsbridge.

Other options on the menu include an astonishing £1,350 Golden Giant Striploin steak and a £1,450 Golden Giant Tomahawk.

Although it seems Salt Bae was sure he had found a niche in the market, piggybacking on the success of his £100 Golden Burger, foodies have slammed his avocado creation.

Some were left baffled as to how the Turkish butcher expected diners to eat the burger, saying it would be "impossible."

Others simply lost their appetites after watching the cringe-worthy video, while social media users were stunned by his bizarre twist on the classic burger.

One said: "Somehow this video manages to offend both vegan and meat-eating sensibilities at the same time."

Another commented: "Impossible to eat. Pass!"

A third added: "This avocado burger looks awful, raw room temperature avocado with a hot burger and melted cheese. And a dumb a** pinch of salt."

A fourth called for the chef to be "banned from using avocados".

While a fifth complained: "Bro is just inventing random s**t now."

Salt Bae's unimpressed followers even joked they would probably have "to sell their house" to afford the Avocado Burger.

His strange and elongated pronunciation at the end of the clip also raised eyebrows among internet users.

One said: "Why's he gotta say avocado like that?"

Another wrote: "Salt Bae is once again pronouncing avocado in the thickest limerick accent you ever heard."

The chef seems to be keeping up a running joke with himself, as he first donned the strange accent when referencing the popular green fruit in March last year.

Support for Salt Bae has significantly dwindled after he was seen pestering Argentinian players to hold the 2022 World Cup trophy.

He has been accused of swiping waiters' tips at his swanky restaurants and sacking terrified staff on a whim like a "dictator" with a "god complex".

The 39-year-old has built a £40million fortune with 22 bling steakhouses around the world since he went viral in a meme.
