A woman has admitted to rekindling her romance with her ex-boyfriend after they were caught in a clandestine meeting on Google Maps.

The image of the woman, Paola Muñoz, featured on Google Street View, shows her sitting with her unnamed ex-lover on a street curb outside a house, engrossed in deep conversation.

The revelation came to light when Paola noticed a Google vehicle passing down her street and later decided to explore the images online.

To her shock, she discovered the snapshot of her covert rendezvous, prompting her to share the discovery on TikTok. The video quickly went viral, amassing 1.4 million views.

She added: “At least my face doesn't show.”

She proudly announced that their relationship has been revived and they are back together.

The incident unfolded in Tampico, a city located southeast of Mexico City.

Paola shared further details about the encounter with her 13,000 TikTok followers, titling the video, "My ex and I were sneaking around with each other."

The revelation sparked a wave of comments from viewers who related their own experiences with Google Maps' unexpected revelations.

One commenter shared how they discovered their partner's infidelity through the service, while another humorously remarked, "If God knows, Google knows."

Google Maps utilizes vehicles equipped with high-resolution cameras to capture images for their Street View service, aiming to document every nook and cranny of the planet.

However, these cameras sometimes capture unsuspecting individuals engaged in compromising situations, which subsequently end up online.

In Mexico, incidents caught by the Google cameras have ranged from public fights and embarrassing falls to explicit acts by the roadside.

Individuals who find themselves captured in awkward or compromising situations can request the removal of the images through Google's support section by filling out a form and indicating that their consent was not given for the publication of the images.
