Wrexham owner Ryan Reynolds could well have hinted where Ben Foster's future lies, after the former Premier League goalkeeper helped the Welsh team secure promotion to the Football League.
Foster was brought in for the last eight games of Wrexham's season, and played an integral part in their title victory. The ex-England international infamously saved a penalty in stoppage time against rivals Notts County, as the eventual champions went on to win the dramatic clash 3-2.
Foster's move to the Racecourse ground saw the goalkeeper come out of retirement, after initially hanging up his gloves following the end of the 2021/22 season with former club Watford.
Following his heroics there have been calls for Foster to stay on for their first season back in League 2.
One man who has led the calls for the contract extension is Reynolds. And the Hollywood star has seemingly left Wrexham fans excited following his recent activity on social media.
Premier League odds and betting tipsOne eager supporter took to Twitter to call on Foster to sign for 'one more year' tagging the goalkeeper, plus the club's official Twitter account. The post raked in a whole host of likes from the Wrexham fanbase, including Reynolds.
