Born on January 22, 1986, in Mexia, Texas, Daniel Wayne was the son of famed model and actress Anna Nicole Smith and Billy Wayne Smith.
From the age of 16, Daniel made multiple appearances on his mother's E! Network reality series, The Anna Nicole Show.
He also starred in two of Anna Nicole's films, Skyscraper and To The Limit.

In the summer of 2006, Daniel was taking classes at the Los Angeles Valley College.
How did he die?
On September 10, 2006, Anna Nicole welcomed her daughter, Dannielynn, into the world at the Doctors Hospital in Nassau, Bahamas.
Three days after her birth, Daniel, aged 20, died from an accidental drug overdose while visiting his mother and half-sister in the hospital room.
An autopsy at the time suggested Daniel's death was attributed to a lethal combination of antidepressants and painkillers, some of which he was formally prescribed.
Following his death, an investigation was launched in the Bahamas.
In March 2008, his death was determined accidental.
