On May 18, 2023, the popular duo announced that they would be stepping away from the series after the conclusion of their 20th series in 2024.
The pair confirmed the news on their joint Instagram page.
Ant said on the video: "We love making Saturday Night Takeaway, but reaching the milestone of 20 series seemed like the perfect time to pause for a little while and catch our breath.”

Ant and Dec first started hosting Saturday Night Takeaway in 2002.
The show was put on hiatus in 2009 by ITV due to falling ratings, but it returned in 2013.
Who appeared in the 19th series of the ITV show?
A number of big names appeared on the 19th series of the show, with stars taking part in a number of different segments.
The star guest announcers included actor David Tennant, former England football star and Queen of the jungle Jill Scott, as well as Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger.
Popular segment I'm A Celebrity Get Out Of Me Ear... returned with Claudia Winkelman and chef Joe Wicks taking part in pranks against members of the public.
The Geordie duo also brought back their popular segment Undercover, where they prank a popular celebrity by using a number of actors to provide obstacles for the stars.
The victims of these pranks in the 19th series were Alison Hammond and Rylan Clark.
Stars involved in the End Of The Show Show included Tom Grennan, Diversity and Busted.
Their mini-series, Murder At Bigwig Manor, saw stars such as Davina McCall, Dermot O'Leary and Joel Dommett take part in the comedy feature.
