A teenager arrested after TikTok and YouTube "prank" videos showed people entering a frightened family's home without permission will appear in court after being charged by police.

The 18-year-old - understood to use the username Mizzy on social media - was identified and detained last night after an investigation into the footage.

Bacari-Bronze O'Garro, 18, will appear at Thames Magistrates' Court on Wednesday after being charged with failing to comply with a community protection notice.

The clip showed two young men approaching and entering a house in Hackney, east London without the permission of the owners.

The person filming is seen walking through a front garden and through the front door as an alarmed woman asks what he's doing.

She can be heard calling for her partner, who tries to get the two intruders to leave and says: "We've got kids."

The man films himself briefly sitting on the family's sofa before finally leaving.

Other videos allegedly show the TikToker pestering train passengers and entering a man's car claiming it is his Uber.

Further complaints include unsolicited approaches made towards members of the public in the street - with footage showing him asking them if they 'want to die'.

He was arrested on Tuesday after a clip of him allegedly entering a scared family's home went viral online.

His behaviour caused "widespread upset, distress and concern" in the community in Stoke Newington.

O'Garro, of Manor Road, Hackney, east London, was arrested after an investigation into social media footage.

Detective Chief Superintendent James Conway from the Metropolitan Police's Central East Command Unit said:

"Understandably there has been extensive comment on this case in the media and on social media.

"Now that an individual has been charged, I would ask that the judicial process be respected and allowed to take its proper course."
